Stac Pollaidh
Staggeringly beautiful views from the ridge. 2-5 hours for the circular walk including the first peak, built path underfoot. Second peak for experienced scramblers only!

Leitir Easaidh Walk, Assynt
Great 45-minute walk for all ages and abilities, suitable for wheelchairs, pushchairs and prams. Or head beyond the all-abilities path for a two-hour loop.
- Distance: 2 miles (45 minutes).
- Full loop: 4.5 miles (2 hours).
- Distance to start point: 11 miles.
- All-abilities path.

Easy flat walks
Easy-going lochside, riverside and beach walks for a more relaxed pace of life. Great for dog-walking.
North Of Glendhu Loch
Local favourite and part of the Cape Wrath Trail.
- Distance: 5 miles to the end.
- Distance to start point: 1 mile.
North Of Oldshoremore Beach Loop
Beautiful narrow stretch of beach leading to even more beautiful Polin Beach. You’ll have it mostly to yourself.
- Distance: 3 miles
- Distance to start point: 29 miles.

River Walk, Lochinver
A lovely loop walk and local favourite.
- Distance: 4.5 miles.
- Distance to start point: 17 miles.
- Car park at Glencanisp Lodge.
Sandwood Bay (Kinlochbervie)
The best beach in Britain! Perfect for a full day’s outing, reached across four miles of moorland track, wild and remote.
- Distance: 4.5 miles each way.

Quinag
Medium hill walks
For walkers with more time to explore and climb.
Quinag
Oor hill, visible from the hotel. Three Corbetts, stupendous views.
- Distance: 8-9 miles for all 3 summits (7-9 hours).
- Distance to start point: 4 miles.
- 3.5 hours to main summit and back.
- Allow a full day for all 3 summits.

Tough hill walks for those who like a big challenge.
Suilven
Iconic, mighty, the most famous Assynt mountain. Very tough. Incredible views from the top.
